NASA leader Raila Odinga is once again in the spotlight and is the main reason that for the second time could deny President Uhuru Kenyatta his re-election.

This comes at a time when the former Prime Minister and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka's names have been dragged into the recent petitions filed at the Supreme Court challenging Kenyatta's victory in the October 26 repeat polls despite having earlier withdrawn from the race.

Among those who on Monday, just hours to the submission deadline, filed their cases to challenge the win,is former Kilome member of parliament Harun Mwau who argues that Odinga's self-dismissal rendered the election null and void as he was the main reason behind the court's order for a re-run after the August 8 poll after successfully challenging it.

Mwau also argues that the IEBC acted contrary to the constitution by failing to conduct new nominations basing his argument on the Supreme Court's directive that the body conducts a 'fresh poll' in 60 days with the former lawmaker maintaining that new elections must succeed new nominations.
