Opposition supremo Raila Odinga has applauded his co-principals Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka for their continued stay in the National Super Alliance.
Speaking when he presided over his Orange Democratic Party (ODM) National Governance Council meeting at the party headquarters Friday, Odinga also thanked the three for expanding the alliance from the now defunct Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) alliance.
The four leaders united under the National Super Alliance (NASA) months ahead of the August 8 polls, upon the entrance of Mudavadi's Amani National Congress (ANC) party, with Odinga observing that the block has had its own set of achievements.
''I wish to pay tribute to our partners in the National Super Alliance; the Wiper Democratic Party, Ford Kenya and Amani National Congress for a battle well fought,'' Odinga was quoted by the Standard.
He was accompanied by Musyoka and Mudavadi, in the event that also saw the alliance's calls for electoral justice re-emerge.
The former Premier, who claims to have been rigged trice in a row, said that improvement of electoral regulations is the only remedy for the rigging culture in the country.
''You are aware that through a different front, we are mounting a formidable challenge to the culture of sham, stolen elections with predetermined outcomes. That is the campaign for electoral justice that we have been on since late 2017 and which will run till justice is done,'' Odinga was quoted by the local daily.
