Opposition leader Raila Odinga may have after all been denied entry to the United States of America, claims State House digital Communication officer Dennis Itumbi.
Through Ambassador Robert Godec, President Donald Trump had warned of dire consequences including travel bans to politicians sabotaging IEBC.
On his Facebook post, Itumbi claimed that Odinga had planned a 10 – day tour to the US, moments before October 26th poll.
“Raila has been denied entry to USA and he had planned to go for around 10 days in New York. He was denied Visa,” he claims.
During a meeting at Okoa Kenya on Monday, Odinga had claimed that he voluntarily dropped quest to participate in a public lecture at US and preferred another one at UK.
“It will be just a day event and people should not be worried about that. I will attend and later on come back,” he stated ahead of his tour to Chatham in UK.
Already, Odinga has withdrawn from the presidential race on grounds that IEBC is not ready to conduct fresh polls.
