Opposition leader Raila Odinga has dismissed the perceived tyranny of numbers by Jubilee government as ‘fiction’ adding that the government has lost track.
Odinga was speaking in Turkana on Sunday during his final day of a three day tour which was well attended across the Northern Kenya County.
“I hear them talking about tyranny of numbers which is now a fiction. Kenyans are tired of massive corruption, tribalism and nepotism,” said Odinga amid claims that opposition strongholds registered an underwhelming figure during mass voter listing that ended on Sunday.
“I am confident that we shall beat them because they are going to lose in the so called strongholds. What we have to do is to ensure we vote in large numbers,” he added.
Barely a week after receiving Ambassadors Sam Ongeri and Chirau Makwere to his camp, Odinga also received Turkana Central MP John Lodepe to his party.
Lodepe, a former Deputy Leader in the defunct URP, was the only MP with close working relationship with Governor Josephat Nanok.
