ODM leader Raila Odinga is set to tour Marsabit County in the Upper Eastern region as vote hunting mission continues.
His journey comes after a series of bad outings especially at Kabarnet, Thika and Githurai where he was forced to abandon rallies due to hostility.
Marsabit along with Isiolo, Samburu, Laikipia, Narok and Kajiado are witnessing intensive battle between NASA and Jubilee with analysts saying that they are crucial in the August elections.
In 2013 elections, Both Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta then of TNA had a fair share of votes with each claiming stake in the region.
NASA strategists have earmarked the region as a crucial county and Odinga is expected to hold a series of rallies in Marsabit, Laisamis and Moyale towns in the vast county.
He is expected to attend funeral of Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery in Kajiado before taking a flight with other NASA leaders.
