Opposition leader Raila Odinga has yet again expressed his confidence of a resounding victory in August's polls in a move that my spark another crisis in the opposition coalition.
The opposition team is yet to front a single candidate to face president Uhuru Kenyatta of Jubilee Party with only seven months to general elections.
On Friday, Odinga told thousands of his supporters in Rangwe constituency to vote for him and assured them of being in the next government.
"They (Jubilee) have panicked and that is why you are seeing them using orthodox means to control us. I am sure of beating them squarely in August," he said.
Odinga added: "I only want you to vote in large numbers because I won't let you down. The victory belongs to us and that is a guarantee."
The former Prime Minister toured former Nyanza province for the better part of this week and urged his supporters to register as voters in large numbers
