NASA leader Raila Odinga has challenged members of Kikuyu community to entrust him with leadership adding that they will benefit under his leadership.

The veteran leader had taken his campaigns to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Kiambu home turf on Tuesday and reiterated his commitment to transform the leadership of the country.

Perceived to be Uhuru’s stronghold, Odinga narrated how he has worked with members of Kikuyu community before.

“I have always worked with Kikuyu’s. When Kibaki was involved in an accident, I fully campaigned for him. I nominated Rachael Shebesh, Isaac Mwaura and Joe Nyaga yet I knew they belong here.

“Today I am working with Esther Passaris, Paul Mwangi my lawyer and David Ndii the brilliant economist,” he recalled.

He dismissed allegations that he will exclude the Mt. Kenya tribe should he beat Mr Kenyatta in August polls.

This is the first time Odinga is campaigning in the Jubilee friendly region and is said to be keen to score from members of Kikuyu community.
