ODM leader Raila Odinga has yet again launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta by laughing off his recent tour to the region.
In a tour that was marred with chaotic scenes, Uhuru championed for his reelection by insisting that his government had done a lot to the Gusii community, among them appointing of CS Fred Matiangi and CJ David Maraga.
But Odinga dismissed Jubilee’s development in the region adding that the community had suffered in Jubilee administration.
“I am shocked that he says he appointed Maraga. We all know that is a constitutional seat. Most of infrastructural projects here were launched and done by myself,” said Odinga amid cheering supports.
The former PM added: “I do not need two days to campaign in Gusii because the community knows who has their interests. Let us vote out this corrupt administration.”
Even though he had pledged to avoid discussing politics in his earlier address at Kisii University, Odinga was forced to make an impromptu address by thousands of his supporters who blocked his convoy.
