Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga insists he won’t have business in disputing 2017 polls outcome should he lose fairly.
Odinga also said the party will not accept manual voting system adding that it would be a scheme by Jubilee administration to rig him out.
Already, opposition MPs have vowed to oppose changes to elections laws, which they argue would give avenue to using of manual means should digital transmission of results fail.
‘I do not fear retiring from politics should I lose fairly. What we want is a fair election process in which the will of people is respected regardless of the outcome,” he said during Luo festivals in Homa Bay on Monday.
“Jubilee cannot subject us to manual voting systems which we graduated from in 2013. We want every vote of all Kenyans to count without manipulation,” he said.
Even though Odinga is keen to run against President Uhuru Kenyatta, the opposition team has not yet settled on their ideal candidate.
