Opposition leader Raila Odinga insists military spokesman Joseph Owodho is missing despite claims that he is safe and not suspended from duty.
A day after the nation woke up to news about brutal murder of electoral body IEBC ICT officer Chris Musando, news spread about Owodho’s predicaments.
And in Kisii town on Tuesday evening, Odinga insisted that the officer was missing despite claims that he had confirmed his safety.
“I know how the military works with secrecy and they all know that he is nowhere. They took Chris and now Owodho was the next in that order.
“Pray for him so that he is found safe and sound. They know he stood with majority Kenyans and that is why he had to pay the price,” Odinga said.
Last week, Owodho confirmed authenticity of documents released by opposition which claimed that the government was planning to use the military to rig.
Despite claims that he had been dismissed from the force, sources claim that he has since denounced the rumoirs.
