National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has launched yet another scathing attack on opposition leader Raila Odinga, terming him a lord of 'lies'
On Thursday, Odinga faulted Jubilee administration's commitment towards fight against corruption, accusing president Uhuru Kenyatta of non-commitment.
And Duale dismissed the allegations adding that Odinga's campaign was based on propaganda and lies aimed at portraying Jubilee government negatively.
"Raila Odinga has nothing new to tell Kenyans. He has graduated from a lord of poverty to a lord of lies. He is shy to tell Kenyans the truth," he said in a quick response to Odinga's claims.
He added: "The government is commitment on the fight against graft. Both the opposition and government have responsibility to fight the vice. The other day he was defending ODM Governors accused of graft."
But Odinga insisted that the government had resorted into external and domestic borrowing with little tangible projects in the last four years.
Last week, Kenya was ranked 145th by Transparency International's corruption index, a position that did not go down well with Odinga.
