President Uhuru Kenyatta has labeled opposition leader Raila Odinga a propagandist and urged Kenyans to evaluate him based on his track record.
The two leaders are set for another epic battle in a month’s time that will be a typical repeat of 2013 elections which Uhuru won.
And in Bomet on Thursday, Uhuru defended his legacy adding that the nation has witnessed significant development in infrastructure, water, energy and education fields.
“That Mzee is a propagandist. He goes around saying that we have done nothing which is basically a lie. He is only interested in dragging us behind.
“I am committed to deliver on our promises and we have done a lot in roads, education and energy. There more we have lined up after August,” he added.
Kenyatta was touring the region barely a day after another visit by Odinga, who had also held a rally in the same venue.
While Uhuru is relying on Sotik MP Joyce Laboso, Odinga is working closely with Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto.
