Elgeyo-Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen has sensationally claimed that the opposition team is too broke to run a campaign and have reverted to harassing electoral body IEBC.

He further says NASA wants elections to be postponed to allow them put their house in order by soliciting funds from foreign agencies.

“NASA should admit that it is too broke to ran a campaign and that is why they are harassing IEBC,” said Murkomen in reference to the controversy surrounding printing of ballot papers.

He added: “As Jubilee we cannot allow them to buy time because of their disorganization. They must face us in good faith if they are genuine.”

NASA has not only called for cancellation of ballot paper printing tender awarded to a Dubai based company but also challenged the DPP to prosecute a number of Cabinet Secretaries whom they accuse of campaigning for Jubilee against the law.

Those under their list of investigation include Eugene Wamalwa, Mwangi Kiunjuri, Fred Matiang’i and Cecily Kariuki.

Murkomen was addressing a rally at Londian in Rift Valley on Thursday when he accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto.
