ODM leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday sensationally claimed that Jubilee administration only addressed ‘countable’ number of people in Gusii stadium.

Opposition leadership had cancelled a tour to the region on Monday to pave way for President Uhuru Kenyatta as voter hunt for close to 800, 000 people takes shape.

And when addressing his followers, Odinga dismissed claims that the region is swing adding that he is confident of a ‘resounding’ victory.

“I was waiting for them to come so that I can crown and dismiss their propaganda. It has worked and I am happy that they addressed an empty stadium.

“Kisii is not a swing region and that should be a clear message. We are all tired of this crippled regime and it is time to change it for the better,” he added.

In 2013, Odinga’s Cord managed to scoop over 70 percent of local votes while President Uhuru Kenyatta’s TNA managed slightly over 25 percent.

Tuesday’s contest is yet again set to ignite fierce rivalry between the two protagonists with Odinga exuding confidence that he will carry the day.
