ODM leader Raila Odinga is yet again left mourning following untimely death of Kwale senator Boy Juma Boy.
Mr. Juma, who passed on Sunday at a Nairobi hospital, was a fierce defendant of Odinga’s leadership both in and out of the August house.
In his condolence message, Odinga said Juma’s death was not only a blow to the country but also to the ODM party.
“I have learnt with great sadness of passing of my friend and brother Senator Boy Juma of Kwale County earlier today,” he said.
Raila added: “He was not only a steadfast pillar in our ODM party at the coast but also in the country at large. Was committed champion for the rights of people and a gifted orator,”
Juma was first elected to parliament in 1984 after the death of his father, Juma Boy; formerly MP for Kwale Central now renamed Matuga.
He was undoubtedly one of the best debaters in the senate and could leave legislators in stiches during his submissions in the House.
