Odinga, who is expected to make his fourth attempt for presidency is accompanied by Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.

In a statement from spokesperson Dennis Onyango, Odinga’s delegation will meet a section of incoming administration before jetting back to Kenya early next week.

“Rt. Hon Raila Odinga has left the country for Ghana to attend inauguration of the fifth President Nana Addo Akufo. That is scheduled on Saturday. He left for Accra this morning with Governor Hassan Joho,” read the statement.

“While in Ghana, Odinga and his delegation will meet a section of the incoming administration and will return to Nairobi early next week,” Onyango said.
