Gusii community will benefit more in Raila Odinga’s presidency than any other regime before, notes Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire.

His message comes at a time when Odinga is embroiled in a tough tussle for over 800, 000votes from Kisii and Nyamira Counties with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

And on Sunday, Bosire warned that the community will suffer for unspecified number of years if they do not join the rest of Kenyans in voting out Jubilee government.

“I have been a friend to this Mzee (Odinga) for over fifteen years and I know he loves the Gusii people,” said Bosire at a grand rally in Rigoma market.

The outspoken MP added: “He has shown us before that he will surely work for us without discrimination. This is the time for us to reward him as a community.”

Although Jubilee strategists have earmarked the region as a tossup, Bosire maintained that ODM still remains the most popular party.

During his address, Odinga reminded locals a number of key infrastructural developments he had initiated when he served both as Prime Minister and Roads Minister.
