Jubilee’s victory in governorship, senatorial and parliamentary victories in Nairobi County was as a result of massive electoral fraud, says opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Despite trouncing President Uhuru Kenyatta in the final tally, Odinga’s NASA collation lost in terms of strength both in parliament and County Assembly to Jubilee party.

But the veteran leader now says the outcome was, manipulated to favour Uhuru as a way of making impression that he controls the capital.

“We have gone through records and it is quite clear that I got over a million votes. It is impractical that Evans Kidero got much far lesser vote than mine.

“By counting, we should be in control of at least 12 parliamentary seats and even the senatorial position but jubilee did the unthinkable,” he told his supporters at Embakasi East.

Of the 17 parliamentary seats in the capital, Jubilee scooped nine leaving NASA coalition with only eight seats.

Also, Governor Evans Kidero and aspiring senator Edwin Sifuna lost to Jubilee’s Mike Sonko and Johnson Sakaja respectively. Only Esther Passaris of ODM won a county seat.
