National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has mourned the death of the late Dr Robert Ouko's wife Christabel Ouko.
"Mama Ida and I were saddened to learn of the death of Mama Christabel Ouko in a road accident last evening. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends," Raila said as reported by The Standard.
According to the Raila Odinga his family was very close with that of the late Christabel Ouko.
"Like her late husband, Christabel was outstanding in her commitment to our country and her family. She played critical roles in the development of our country and rendered selfless services to her immediate community," Raila said.
Odinga also expressed his sadness with fact that Christabel was not alive long enough to find those responsible for murdering her husband.
"As a family, it is our hope that the support of friends will provide some comfort to her family at this difficult time. May God rest her soul in peace," Raila said.
