Nairobi could yet again be turned into a battle ground on Tuesday during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s inauguration if the opposition proceeds with its plans.
Already, NASA has started a series of activities that aims at helping dozens of families who lost their beloved ones on since the controversial August polls.
“We are going to have a fund drive for those who were killed by the police after which we shall hold requiem mass for them across the country,” says Norman Magaya.
According to NASA records, at least 27 people lost their lives in the last two weeks with most deaths coming during Odinga’s chaotic return from America.
And the events will culminate in a mega rally that will be held at Uhuru Park, few kilometers from where Uhuru will be hosting his guests.
“We shall be at Uhuru Park and our team will make a major declaration. Kenyans are tired with police brutality,” Magaya added.
With several world leaders expected in the country, Uhuru’s team will be keen to have smooth operations within the capital, a move that could result to a major confrontation.
