Outspoken Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will have a tough choice on who to front ahead of Kitutu Chache South parliamentary elections.
With both Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya and Raila Odinga's ODM fielding candidates, Joho will have tough choices to make before weekend campaigns in the region ahead of November 7.
"It is ODM which has deployed Joho here and he is my deputy party leader but if he deems it fit to campaign for both of us,I have no issue," said Sam Omwando, the ODM flag bearer.
Understandably, both Odinga and Wetangula will not make it for campaigns at it is believed that they deployed Joho to bring together Omwando and Ford Kenya's Richard Onyonka.
And onyonka on his side says he will ensure NASA delivers the seat adding that he won't be distracted by the coalition's position.
"I have no issue with Joho campaigning for my competitor but our focus is to deliver the seat and that is my concern," he said.
While NASA has fielded two candidates, Jubilee will be represented on ballot by Antony Kiabagendi, a former ODM youth leader.
IEBC, in compliance with the law, had postponed the elections following the death of Jubilee candidate Leonard Mwamba in July.
