NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has poked holes into the ruling Jubilee administration's pledge that it will industrialize the nation should it secure a re-election in the forthcoming August general elections.

Speaking during a rally in Nakuru's Afraha Stadium Sunday,Odinga termed the promise as a lie questioning the criteria the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led government will use to introduce more factories when it has failed to maintain the existing ones and resurrect the ones closing down.

''There is no way Jubilee can introduce new factories when it has failed to sustain the present ones and help the dying ones back to their feet. Its an outright lie,'' said Odinga who also blamed the deterioration of industrialization in the country on Jubilee's inability to counter graft.

''Our young generation is jobless because many factories and companies including Yana Tyres and Eveready are closing their doors and relocating due to the rising levels of corruption under the Jubilee leadership,'' he said.

Odinga has however promised to introduce industrial parks in every country should he be elected President saying that they will go a long way into equipping the youth with the needed skills to earn them a place in the job sector.
