[Photo|Raila Odinga]NASA leader Raila Odinga, has sent a message to both the Jubilee government and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, hours after Commissioner Dr Roslyn Akombe, resigned. He sent the message, during the coalition's campaign at Kamukunji Grounds at Shauri Moyo, Nairobi.Below is Odinga's message, Wednesday."The steady resolve of ordinary Kenyans to stand with our coalition in the quest for justice becomes increasingly clear with each passing day. It is high time Jubilee controlled security forces and stopped extrajudicial killings that are particularly targeting the Luo community. Listening to IEBC Chairman Mr. Wafula Chebukati enumerate the numerous challenges he is undergoing, it is clear that the rational and prudent thing to do, is to call off the sham exercise that is being forced upon the nation in the name of an election. The commission must also stop endangering the lives of electoral officials by attempting to train and post them across the country, when the vast majority of Kenyans are against the exercise. This charade must be brought to an end immediately to pave way for much needed reforms. We would also like to emphatically tell the current repressive regime that using tactics from yesteryear which have no place in our current constitutional dispensation will not slow us down. To this end our resolve remains no reforms no elections."
