[Photo Philip Etale]NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has told off President Uhuru Kenyatta after he laughed off, a fundraiser campaign by the coalition, which aims to raise funds for the coalition's presidential campaign.Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, launched a mobile pay bill number and a bank account number for Kenyans to send their contributions, saying they had insufficient funds to run the presidential campaign. However, Uhuru took a swipe at the Opposition's fundraiser, saying they were now stealing from individuals, after looting public funds through their governors who were beaten in the August 8 polls. In response, Odinga wondered why Uhuru and his Jubilee Party team was concerned with the fundraiser campaign, saying Nasa asked for support from Kenyans in an honest manner, but Uhuru uses public funds to campaign."We all know Jubilee uses public resources to campaign but Nasa we don't have that capacity - of course it is illegal. The other day they had an expensive fundraiser dinner where they invited government officials and heads of parastatals," said Odinga, Sunday.Addressing the press after attending a church service at St Patrick's ACK in Isinya, Kajiado county, he noted that Kenyans of goodwill who believe in Nasa agenda were already contributing, an indication that Kenyans were ready for change."Most of presidential campaigns are funded by the citizens. So it is not something new. I wonder why Uhuru is concerned about this one. We have not forced anybody to give us their money and we are not stealing from them. We are only asking for support and anyone willing, will contribute."
