Kisumu Deputy Governor Ruth Odinga has said that she ready to deputise any candidate who wins the kisumu gubernatorial race primaries on an ODM ticket.
This comes days after she dropped her gubernatorial seat ambitions.
Ms Odinga while addressing a press conference in Kisumu, said that she would continue offering her duties as Deputy governor.
Ms Odinga confirmed that she was no longer interested in the top seat despite earlier on maintaining her resolve to unseat incumbent Jack Ranguma.
Ranguma, Kisumu Senator Anyang Nyong’o , businessman Hezron Mc’Obewa and Gordon Wayumba will compete for the ODM ticket during the primaries.
Ms Odinga further criticised pollster Infotrack for giving her a low popularity rating for governor, regardless of the fact that she was not running.
She claimed the poll was altered to influence the voters.
