NASA leader Raila Odinga has dismissed claimed that National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale met his elder brother, Oburu Odinga, to discuss current political crisis in the country.
The story first reported by the Star, created heated debate online with opposition supporters accusing Odinga of ‘auctioning’ them to Jubilee.
But on Tuesday in Nairobi, Odinga dismissed the meeting adding that Jubilee has only being trying to reach him directly through emissaries.
“I received a call from Oburu and he has denied such a meeting. It is just a creation of the media and should be dismissed.
“I am not desperate to meet Jubilee for dialogue. The only thing I can discuss with them is electoral justice and they have been reaching me directly,” he said.
To secure nominations to EALA, the Star reported, Oburu had reached Jubilee through Duale on the grounds that he talks to Raila to soften his stand on current political impasse.
Also, it is alleged that Jubilee proposed to give NASA a number of appointments to cabinet among other high profile appointments.
