Opposition leader Raila Odinga has once again hit out at a group of political leaders who have remained opposed to his truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking in Kajiado county on Saturday, the former Prime Minister further faulted claims that he is hiding behind the truce to push for the heating executive expansion constitutional amendment topic.
Among those who have since made the claim is Deputy President William Ruto, who has bashed the Orange party leader saying that he is keen on housing himself within the government, claims the leader has rubbished.
"People who are claiming that I am looking for a state job are mistaken. I am not interested in any job because I am already contended with the current situation," he said.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) chief further revealed that he has no plans for the upcoming 2022 presidential contest.
This comes amid observations that he could be preparing to take a fifth stab at the post, basing on his latest political moves, including his recent chain of reconciliations with former rivals.
"People should stop making unfounded and baseless claims about me and my 2022 plans. Whatever is being said about 2022 is non existent and whatever I am doing now is for the nation's well being at the present time," stated the leader.
