ODM leader Raila Odinga has labeled President Uhuru Kenyatta as ‘hypocritical and disrespectful’ following protests by Jubilee supporters over Supreme Court judges.

Protesters in Nairobi, Nakuru and Eldoret accused the Supreme Court of allegedly being influenced by the opposition to nullify Uhuru’s victory and threatened to have the president sworn in by all means.

But in an interview with NTV, Odinga slammed Uhuru as ‘ignorant of law and deeds’ adding that the protests were unnecessary.

“As opposition, we were not even intending to seek justice in court but Uhuru kept urging us to take that direction.

“He is now being hypocritical and disrespectful to the society. He should walk the talk and respect the rule of law. The protests were organized by his team,” he added.

In 2013, Odinga, who lost in the petition, called for calmness and accepted the decision even though he did not agree with it.
