Silvanus Osoro, an entrepreneur and South Mugirango parliamentary aspirant has sensationally ditched ODM for Kenya National Congress.
Just slightly one month before the Orange party holds its national primaries, Osoro, a staunch supporter of ODM leader Raila odinga made the unprecedented move that has shocked many.
ODM is keen to win parliamentary seats in Gusii land having dismally performed in 2013 elections where, initially they won five out of ten constituencies.
“It is a decision that I have made and I have no apologies to make,” said Osoro on Wednesday after joining Manson Nyamweya led party.
He added: “This does not affect my political stand. I will support Odinga because I believe in his ideals and urge to save this nation.”
Despite his sensational move to KNC, Mr. Nyamweya had however insisted that the party will support NASA presidential candidate in August.
The South Mugirango seat has attracted a host of aspirants majorly within ODM after outgoing MP; Manson Nyamweya announced his bid to run for Kisii County governorship.
