For the third time in a week, opposition leader Raila Odinga will pitch tent in vote rich Rift Valley region which is perceived to be Jubilee government’s stronghold.
Last weekend, the former Prime Minister held a mega rally in the historical Bomet Green stadium where area governor Isaac Rutto was installed Kipsigis community spokesperson.
On Wednesday, Odinga spent much of his time campaigning in Bomet, Sotik constituency where he urged locals to vote out Jubilee administration.
In Kericho, Odinga is expected to visit Londian, Kuresoi and Kipkelion before holding a major rally at Kericho town in Belgut constituency.
Those who he has tasked to reclaim the vote rich region which he lost in 2013 include Governor Rutto, Kuresoi MP Zakayo Cheruiyot and Johanna Ng’eno of Emurua Dikir.
Governor Ruto has been spearheading revolution in the Rift Valley and due to his rivalry with DP William Ruto; he opted out of defunct URP to form CCM party which he will defend his seat with
