Odinga said the ODM Party had deployed ODM agents in all polling stations countrywide to keep tabs on the ongoing exercise.

Odinga, who was accompanied by Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma and a host of ODM leaders arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Grounds for a voter mobilization drive, a first stop before proceeding to Siaya and Busia for a similar drive.

He told the supporters that its only through registration and casting of votes that the country could be liberated from bad leadership.

“Tuna sababu, na tuna nia, tuna Uwezo wa kutoa Jubilee kwa utawala, (We have the will, we have the ability to remove the Jubilee Coalition from powe),” said Odinga.

Other leaders who took to the podium said that the August polls will be won with numbers, and appealed to the locals to register in numbers, and register in mass.

“Tunataka kila mtu achukue kura, sawasawa? Uhuru na Ruto, nyumbani, Jubilee, nyumbani, (We want everyone to register as a voter, okay, Uhuru and Rutoo will go home,” said Anyang Nyongo.

During the rally, the ODM leaders welcomed former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo, who decamped the ruling coalition.

He sensationally claimed that he was privy to the rigging of election in 2013, which gave Kenyatta the presidency.

Odinga has been meeting his supporters, urging them to register in the ongoing voter listing exercise, which kicked off on Monday.
