Opposition leader Raila Odinga will be sworn in as fifth President of Kenya whether or not IEBC pronounces him as actual winner of August polls, University of Nairobi student leader Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has said.

Despite his latest pronouncement though, Odinga’s opposition alliance NASA is yet to settle on a single candidate who will face Uhuru Kenyatta of Jubilee Party.

But Owino, a controversial student leader of modern era, warns IEBC of declaring the ‘corrupt’ Uhuru Kenyatta as winner in August.

“You do not need rocket science to know that Kenyatta has lost an election. The economy of the nation deteriorating and corruption has taken centre stage,” said Owino, who has led the prestigious institution for a record three years period.

The Embakasi East parliamentary aspirant added: “We shall ensure Odinga is sworn in at Uhuru Park whether he is announced winner or not. Enough is enough and we can’t allow these corrupt elements.”

On ODM primaries, Owino warned Election Board chair Judy Pareno against condoning any ‘fishy’ deals adding that winners should be rewarded with certificates in April.
