Titled The Quest for Nationhood, the book details Odinga’s vision for the young people, advising them how to recover lost ground and achieve prosperity for all.

Odinga says the book was for the Kenyan youths who were not present during the country’s defining moments, and as well as the elderly whose memory has faded.

The book; Quest for Nationhood: Roadmap to Our Future, is a pocket-sized 125-page done by Odinga himself.

It is an account that captures the former premier’s historic moments and the political development in the local scene.

It also highlights some of the key moments including detailing on Kenya’s independence, the so-called Kisumu massacre, and other injustices.

Odinga highlights the 2007 election that was marred with violence, which saw more than a thousand Kenyans lose their lives with hundreds of thousands displaced.

The book will be launched soon and availed in book shelves.

Odinga is currently in the campaign mood as he tries for the fourth time to lead the nation, and will come face to face with President Kenyatta, who beat him in the last general elections.
