President Uhuru Kenyatta says he is ‘sure; of winning Tuesday’s elections with a landslide despite stiff opposition from opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The political protagonists are set to face each other for the second time in less than five years with analysts labeling the race ‘too’ close to call.

And in Nakuru on Saturday, Uhuru said he would send Odinga to retirement adding that Kenyans were tired of his rhetoric.

“I am sure that Kenyans are not ready for empty rhetoric. This is the time that I must ensure someone goes for retirement.

“He dwells in divisive politics and we are not ready for that. He should be prepared to concede honorably and retire peacefully,” he said in an apparent reference to Odinga.

Despite a stiff competition in 2013, Uhuru cruised to victory after securing over 50 percent of votes to Odinga’s 43 percent.

On Tuesday however, the race could be close to call with analysts projecting a run off since none may garner the minimum constitutional threshold.
