[Photo|Raila Odinga]Opposition leader Raila Odinga and his opponent President Uhuru Kenyatta, have agreed to respect the will of the people, in the fresh presidential election slated for October 26.During the burial ceremony of former Nairobi Mayor Samuel Mbugua, father to the former Nairobi Woman Representative Rachel Shebesh, the two leaders admitted that they respect each other, and that they should ensure peace prevails even after election."This country can be bigger if we embrace tolerance. People campaigned, they fought, there were winners and losers and life continues. We have moved on for the last four and a half years. I am sure we are going to resolve these issues. If it is my brother Uhuru, I will respect the will of the people," said Odinga, and asked Uhuru to respect the elderly.Kenyatta asked him to as well, respect the will of the people, for the country to move forward."Raila has said I should respect him as an old man. I also call upon him to respect the will of the people. I will respect the will of the people," he said, Friday, in Kiambu.Several other Jubilee leaders also attended the ceremony, and vowed to ensure Uhuru retains his seat.
