Opposition leader Raila Odinga claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta fears him because he raises valid questions touching his leadership.
The two leaders are set to face each other in August for the second time under five years after Odinga lost to him in 2013.
On Wednesday he said Kenyatta has reverted to personal insults and attacks whenever opposition raises valid concerns on behalf of the people.
“Uhuru Kenyatta fears me so much. I don’t know why he is panicking all the time I speak. If he thinks I like when I raise issues, why insult me when responding?” asked Odinga.
He further said: “He has failed to manage the country and that is why Jubilee is only concerned with intimidating the opposition when we are simply doing our duty.”
He was speaking in Naivasha in a rally attended my thousands of people moments after which he flew to Trans Nzoia for Thursday’s rally.
Earlier this week, a host of leaders allied to Jubilee party called for his arrest accusing him of spearheading hatred in his campaigns.
