CORD leader Raila Odinga has urged the government to create a conducive environment and level playing ground in the education sector for smooth learning.

Odinga also says the the Kenya National Examinations Council should be accountable for the exam cheating cases.
He further accused the community of neglecting its role of molding the young ones, thus giving them a lee way of indulgence in uncouth activities.
Dagoretti sub-county Deputy Commissioner Joseph Mwangi attributes the rampant arson cases in secondary schools to communication gap between the learners and the school authorities.
He has since urged parents to regularly talk to their children in a bid to curb the menace.
The two leaders said this while attending a ceremony to celebrate 15 years of empowerment of vulnerable children through quality education at Giantana Primay School in Nairobi.
Also present were Dagoretti MP Simba Arati, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang, Langata MP Joash Olum and nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro.
