Renowned political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi says that opposition leader Raila Odinga may never be president after all after three major attempts.
In three major battles, Odinga's attempt has been futile with electoral commission IEBC announcing rival candidates as legitimate winners. And for the third time in a row, Odinga has accused electoral commission IEBC of allegedly working with the riling coalitions to rig elections.
“Raila was cursed by God and will never be president. This is a reality based on the three attempts he has made and that is a reality.
“He has to now accept and move on because things are not going to be usual as he thinks. We must ensure that the necessary things are done,” he said.
In his Fort Hall School, Mutahi adds that Odinga’s lack could not be realized after being triumphed upon in three major elections.
The first time that Odinga failed in an election was in 1997 when he ran on an NDP ticket where he finished third in the elections.
