ODM leader Raila Odinga was temporarily carried with emotions when he was given opportunity to speak in Gusii stadium on Tuesday evening.

Earlier Odinga had held a series of rallies along with Governor James Ongwae which focused in Nyaribari Masaba and Kitutu Chache North constituencies.

But at Kisii town, Odinga was overwhelmed and would be seem weeping publically while his supporters watched from a distance.

“I am really surprised that you would come in such numbers despite Jubilee’s efforts to influence you negatively,” he said.

“We have only five days to elections and this is the time when we have to make a critical decision. I know you will not leave me behind,” he added.

Another campaign team led by Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula traversed South Mugirango and Bochari constituencies before joining Odinga’s crew.

The rally came barely a day after Jubilee leadership under the leadership of Uhuru Kenyatta held a huge rally in Gusii stadium.
