Moments after the declaration of official results by IEBC, Kenyans will have to wait further for the next course of action by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The commission led by Wafula Chebukati on Friday declared Uhuru Kenyatta the winner having scored 54 percent of votes with Odinga coming close at 44 percent.

But the move has led to unprecedented chaos in some parts of the country with lake side town, Kisumu, reportedly having the highest number of casualties.

Already, the opposition team through lawyer James Orengo has dismissed likelihood of going to court, the only legal avenue left for them.

Results from parallel tallying center by the opposition indicated that Odinga was leading the race having scored over 8 million votes to Uhuru’s 7 million.

And Odinga’s silence after Uhuru’s confirmation has led to confusion with a number of his supporters going to streets to contest the outcome.

A veteran leader who commands millions of followers across the country, his next move could be important to the country given his long experience on political arena.

In it not yet clear when and what he is likely to tell his supporters, having ruled out contesting the results in the Supreme Court.
