Zimbabwe's opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai will for the first time address the world following military coup in the South African nation, reports the BBC.
With embattled President Robert Mugabe still under house arrest, the military officers are said to be discussing his future with authorities from Pretoria.
But Tsvagirai, a one time Prime Minister and chief critic of Mugabe, will address the world from Harare at 5pm local time.
"The MDC leader will make a keynote address at 5pm. He will discuss the issue broadly," a local journalist told the BBC.
He further said: "Many people have been waiting for him to open up over the situation and the entire country is anxious."
Tsvangirai is a close friend of Odinga and in 2013, he attended ODM National Delegate Conference where Odinga was endorsed as presidential candidate.
Also, both served as Prime Ministers during the same period and have each appeared a political rallies both in Nairobi and Harare.
