Rosemary Odinga, daughter to opposition Chief Raila Odinga, on Thursday took voter registration campaigns to Baringo County urging youths to register in numbers.
Ms. Odinga is expected to go for Kibra constituency seat, a region his father lead for over two decades before it split to Lang'ata and kibra constituencies.
She said the exercise was fundamental to the youthful generation adding that it would enable youths to choose leaders who can change their lives economically.
"Promoting voter registration in Marigat-Baringo County together with Elijah Memusi (MP Kajiado Central) and other leaders," she wrote on her Facebook account on Thursday.
"I want to urge youths to process voting cards so that they can choose good leaders who can change their lives in the society. We must take this exercise seriously," she said.
Her anticipated candidature in Kibra constituency has caused jitters among top ODM leadership, with former Cord secretariat member Eliud Owalo, who is also running for the seat, openly opposing her move.
