Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya is scheduled to unveil his new cabinet on Wednesday, January 31, at the County headquarters.
A communication from the County said the event would kick-off at 10.00 am.
"After naming the County Executives and Chief Officers of various departments, the Governor will forward the list to the County Assembly for vetting before confirmation on their respective positions," read the communication, on Monday.
"Members of the public are cordially invited to the ceremony to be graced by the Speaker of the Assembly, Hon. Morris Buluma, Members of the Kakamega County Assembly, chairperson of Kakamega County Public Service Board and board members, among others."
Oparanya who is ODM party leader Raila Odinga's deputy, postponed naming of the cabinet from mid-January.
