With just a day to presidential repeat elections, ODM leader Raila Odinga has even kept Kenyans more confused over his next course of action.

At an interview with the BBC radio on Tuesday, Odinga ruled out possibility of protests during Thursday’s polls which he has already bolted out.

“My supporters will not demonstrate on Thursday. They will stay indoors and that is my position,” said Odinga, adding that he is confident that elections will not take place.

Having bolted out of the race over delayed reforms in IEBC, Odinga has since called his supporters to boycott elections apart from reverting to street protests to push for more reforms.

IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has insisted that he may not be able to deliver a credible election given the current political environment.

On his planned announcement, he said: “You just have to wait and see. We are tired with bungled elections every five years and this culture shall end.”

It is not however, clear on his next move, despite insisting in most of his rallies that he shall win presidency.

The US and UK have been pushing to have Odinga in the race, a request which he has persistently disowned.
