Despite the sharp political divisions in the country, in the rare circumstances, counsel Okong'o Mogeni, one of the lead counsels in Raila Odinga's August petition, is now representing a Jubilee MP in Kisii High Court. With at least 150 petitions in various courts, most against Jubilee winners, NASA has maintained in a number of political meetings that most winners will have their victory nullified."Jubilee produced computer-generated MPs and their tyranny is just an imagination. We may have many by-elections," James Orengo said in a past address. But in what may be seen as an irony, the Nyamira senator [ODM] is now representing Richard Tongi's, a close confident of President Uhuru Kenyatta. The case was filed by ODM's Chris Bichage who narrowly lost to Tong'i in the closely contested poll."The court cannot admit exhibits which do not belong to deponents of the affidavits," Mogeni told judge Antony Nd'ung'u during the court session on Friday. In 2014, Mogeni acting on behalf of Tong'i, challenged successfully the election of Bichage in a similar court suit.
