[Photo|Raila Odinga]President Uhuru Kenyatta joined Anglicans in the country to mark the culmination of the first Centenary Celebrations of 100 years at All Saints Cathedral Church, Nairobi.He was accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta among other church and government leaders.Also present was former prime minister NASA leader Raila Odinga and Chief Justice David Maraga on Sunday.The ceremony marked the first point of public meeting between Uhuru and Odinga following the controversial fresh presidential election which Odinga withdrew his candidature on October 26 claiming Uhuru had already rigged.Rev Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, led the celebrations alongside ACK Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit.Even though Odinga did not get the chance to speak at the church, he left the below message."Religious history is replete with numerous instances where those in bondage have overcome and ultimately freed themselves from the shackles of oppression. I personally derive great strength from religion and it keeps me going as it does for many around the world."
