Opposition leader Raila Odinga could hang boots from political arena after four decades of hard politics, says Bitange Richard.

A much anticipated address by the veteran leader was postponed on Tuesday over what Chief Agent Musalia Mudavadi termed as ‘unavoidable circumstances’, leading to a longer wait.

But on Wednesday, Odinga is expected to make an address to the nation, barely a week after he lost presidential elections.

“There is nothing much we expect than conceding defeat of filing a petition because that is still within the framework of the constitution,” he says.

Bitange further says: “Concession should be in his mind given his international reputation and that many observer groups have already credited our elections.”

In the address, Odinga is further expected to poke holes into IEBC’s transmission after claiming that Jubilee team hacked its servers.

But at Kibra on Sunday, a charged Odinga insisted that ‘every vote must count’ adding that he does not recognize victory of his competition Uhuru Kenyatta.
