A photo by Citizen TV showing opposition leader Raila Odinga ‘switching’ off during Saturday’s rally has gone viral online with his critics questioning his ability to lead.
A tired Odinga was pictured sleeping while other leaders were delivering their speeches during the launching of NASA campaigns in Kakamega.
Odinga, who is making his fourth stab at presidency after three unsuccessful attempts, was recently cleared by the electoral body IEBC.
“These are clear signs that he should retire from active politics for the sake of his health,” said David Ogwagwa on Kitutu Masaba Alliance whatsap group.
“He is clearly sleeping and I wonder how he can tackle corruption given the crafty civil service we have,” added Haron Ototo on Kisii Facebook page.
However, some came into his defense accusing Jubilee supporters of deviating from fundamental issues affecting the country.
“We should only critique his speech which I think was awesome. Visiting matters such as taking a nap cannot help us,” said Telek Ongaro.
