In an apparent move to reorganize his campaign team, NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga is set to significantly down size his staff both at Orange and Capitol Hill offices.

Odinga, who was unveiled as flag bearer last month, is set to battle with president Uhuru Kenyatta in what has been termed as 2013 rematch.

Having had three unsuccessful attempts on presidency, Odinga is keen to pull a master class performance in August election.

Multiple sources privy to Odinga’s campaign reveals that the two offices will be used to technical and strategic campaign teams, a move that would affect long serving staffs that will be relocated or declared redundant.

“I can assure you that most of old workers will be forced home or be relocated elsewhere. There is a team that would take up the offices in the next two months,” said a source who spoke in confidence.

Another source added: “He is keen to win that is why those who have worked with him for a long time would be sidelined to pave way for a new team.”

Economist David Ndii and business mogul Jimmy Wanjigi would spearhead a technical committee that will be in charge if boardroom strategies.

Further, a team led by Norman Magaya is also expected to take a number of offices for the purpose of campaign plans and executions.
