Opposition leader Raila Odinga says he will still survive should he be elected despite having minority in both Senate and National assembly.

At a meeting in State House recently, President Uhuru Kenyatta warned that he will be forced to use his troops in parliament to impeach Raila should he lose to him.

But in an interview with KTN News on Tuesday, Odinga said he will use dialogue with opposing MPs whenever there is a crisis.

“There is nothing wrong with reaching MPs who feel disgruntled. We shall always reach consensus whenever we have concrete issues that we differ on,” he said.

He added:”There must be issues for impeachment to succeed. But before that, I will handle the issue and I know we can’t fail to agree.”

With few numbers in parliament, Odinga would face difficulties in setting government agenda in the current setting of government.

However, the opposition team has also be making references to Barack Obama, who managed to coordinate government with few lawmakers in Congress and Senate during his second term.
